Information Technology (IT) acts as an internal function the developing, running, and maintaining of the IT systems and platforms Nokia is running on. Develops and maintains applications to meet the business needs of the organisation. Covers the performance and monitoring of day-to-day database and system activities as well as the provision of remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems.

Subfamily Description

IT Architecture (IAM) comprises the definition and management of enterprise architecture (including solution, security, process & information, and integration architecture), which aligns with and supports Nokia’s business strategy, mode of operation, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Implementation:

• Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints that address the needs of global trade operations, including customs compliance, export controls, and trade automation.

2. Integration Management:

• Lead the integration of MIC with other enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and other ERP platforms.

• Ensure seamless data flow and communication between MIC and other business-critical systems, optimizing processes and reducing manual interventions.

3. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

• Ensure that all custom trade management processes comply with global trade regulations and standards.

• Work closely with compliance teams to implement necessary changes in the MIC system to reflect regulatory updates

4. Strategy & Technology Development:

• Define and drive the technology strategy for Nokia’s Global Trade Management, focusing on futureproofing the architecture and adopting emerging technologies.

• Provide thought leadership on best practices for system integration, trade compliance, and automation within the context of Nokia’s global operations.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Lead initiatives to continuously improve the performance, scalability, and security of the Global Trade Management system.

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep Nokia at the forefront of global trade technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Global Trade Management, MIC, and system integration.

• Strong understanding of global trade regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proven experience in integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and other ERP platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Key Competencies:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, and global trade management processes, nice to have MIC knowledge

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with Nokia’s business goals.

• Integration Mastery: Proven experience in managing complex system integrations and ensuring data integrity.

• Compliance Focus : Strong understanding of trade compliance and the ability to design systems that adhere to regulations.
