Procurement Manager – XR

About the Job

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, optimizing supplier relationships, and improving operational efficiency. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract management, and driving supply chain improvements. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and negotiation skills and will lead the procurement team to meet organizational goals while adhering to budget and timeline requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Procurement Strategy Development

• Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
• Monitor market trends and conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and terms.

Vendor Management & Supplier Relations

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure the best value for the organization.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain a database of qualified vendors.

Sourcing & Contract Negotiation

• Lead the sourcing process for all goods and services, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective procurement.
• Negotiate, review, and manage contracts, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company policies.
• Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes to identify the best vendors.

Cost Management & Budgeting

• Manage procurement budgets, monitor spending, and ensure alignment with company financial objectives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs through improved sourcing strategies, process efficiencies, and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted within approved financial limits and cost forecasts.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
• Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking, minimizing supply chain disruptions.
• Implement strategies to streamline the procurement process, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including ethical procurement practices.
• Develop and enforce policies for supplier diversity, sustainability, and risk management.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring high performance, productivity, and collaboration.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the procurement team.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and track key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing insights into procurement activities and financial impact.
• Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement in procurement operations

What We Need To See

• 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost management.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification are a plus.
• Experience managing procurement teams and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
