Applicant can expect to:
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to support demand planning and forecasting activities.
  • Perform ongoing analysis and monitoring of actual performance to forecasted plan, identify significant variances, take corrective actions, and document key assumptions.
  • Support strategic forecast initiatives to improve the quality of the forecast and close the identified gaps.
  • Perform periodic reports and assist in developing dashboards in Power BI.
  • Support and be involved in automation by coding, testing, and preparing process documentation.
The applicant must have experience in below:
  • Demand Planning / Forecasting; reviewing historical shipments trend, analyzing it and evaluate forecast.
  • Attend monthly demand review meetings and communicate forecast changes.
  • Working on excess inventory and investigating root-causes.
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations that inform demand planning decisions.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or other related field or relevant experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting in Supply Chain.
  • Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, functional areas, and levels of business involved in the forecasting and S&OP process.
  • Good understand of Bill of Material, product, and feature level detail.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge in SQL are required.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in IT skills – SQL, Python, R programming are preferred.
