Manager Global Business Operations (Inventory Planning SME)

Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

• Lead / Support Inventory Planning & Governance for “Lam Manufacturing Inventory” across the globe to achieve inventory & customer service goals.
• Collaborate across global order fulfillment, global supply chain functions for improvements in inventory planning & inventory management processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of inventory policies, Lot Size, Safety stock management & system master data configurations.
• Participate in monthly S&OP preparation cycles, provide assessment for inventory forecast & implications based on supply plan changes (Mid Term & Long term)
• Monitor inventory health & build tools to improve root cause analysis competencies & drive mitigations to improve inventory health ratio.
• Collaborate with IT, Data Analytics, System planning groups to enhance inventory planning, execution & governance capabilities.
• Lead / Support regional & global initiatives around inventory planning, execution & governance.
• Drive initiatives within Global Manufacturing inventory team to improve people, process & systems capabilities.

• MBA with Operations Management / Supply Chain Management
• Bachelor with Similar work experience
• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain operations
• Good understanding of S&OP planning, Master Supply Planning & Material Planning processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading inventory planning & managements processes including safety stock management, lot Size , lead time , excess inventory management.
• Experience in working with a global manufacturing environment & matrix structure,
• Experience in leading & executing inventory optimization initiatives.
• Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills.
• Intermediate level understanding of data analysis techniques & tools
• Hands on experience on demand planning & supply planning tools (Kinaxis, SAP , Oracle)

• Exposure in PowerBI , Python , Alteryx will be added advantage
• Hands on experience on demand planning & supply planning tools (Kinaxis, SAP , Oracle)

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
