India Formulations Procurement Lead

Lead the development, management and implementation of comprehensive strategies in alignment with PPS’s goals to deliver agreed savings targets and other benefits that significantly impact the business financial results.

Supply of high quality and competitively priced materials and services, to meet PPS’s requirements.

Develop supply strategies that deliver business requirements across assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost and innovation.

Lead strategic relationships with critical suppliers providing secure and cost effective sources for relevant commodities.

Lead cross functional sourcing group management teams with joint accountability for technical and quality performance

Implement initiatives and programs to improve quality of materials, rationalize the specifications and align it to the business need and reduce lead times.

Ensure security of supply and risk management.

Develop operational excellence strategy for Cost & Process improvements.

Risk Assessment & Risk Mitigation strategies to be identified and implemented for the category spend to protect the business from supply failures and maintain Business continuity.

Initiate cross functional teams across Global sites to work on information sharing & developing common processes.

Proactively promotes low cost sourcing and outsourcing

Attend monthly S&OP meetings, Ops com and customer meetings

Meeting Customer Satisfaction Index as per agreed targets.

Ensure compliance to SOP’s, Policies & Guidelines for Procurements processes to meet the Control Effectiveness Index (CEI).

Conduct extensive Spend Analysis for the category and provide insight into buying leverage Optimization.

Accountable for OTIF , ensuring sustainable uninterrupted supplies as per plan and quality with in budgeted cost

Proactive Working on all the changes in Regulations that are critical to the procurement process.
