About the role:

Logistics Excellence Lead, Supply chain CoE will lead a team of logistics and supply chain associates in driving and execution of providing sourcing support to Global logistics & warehousing commodity managers

The incumbent will collaborate with key stakeholders to manage and execute goals like logistics productivity, network optimization, TMS compliance, RFQ’s for lanes maximizing value-additions and own all the performance metrics.

Build Organizational Capability and Capacity to complement the growth and high

performance expectations. Develop and enhance continuous improvement culture and drive the organization towards CoE. Own Attracting, Hiring, Engaging, Developing and Retention of diverse talent.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

A. Team strategy

• Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities for team
• Periodic engagement with stakeholders to define strategy, align on strategy, adapt strategy based on changing business needs and stakeholders expectations
• Drive change within CoE organization and within overall supply chain
• Translating from strategy to actionable plans for team to follow
• Strategically position Supply chain CoE through strong collaboration and execution from Logistics CoE team

B. Core (functional) skills

• Lead and execute on Sourcing workstream
• Front end accountability of delivering the productivity and other KPIs from CoE organization
• Closely work with Senior SCM leadership team, Global Commodity Managers,
• Collaborate with Business SCM stakeholders to identify the need and transition suitable processes or activities to CoE
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining service level agreements for each customer and activity and leading Performance enhancement reviews

C. People management

• Excellent People Management skills coupled with an empathetic leadership
• style (Proven record of managing team’s sizes of 10-20 resources)
• Fervent desire for getting results

• Strong program management skills, including change management

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• B.E from a premier institute is a MUST, MBA from a good institute preferred
• 15+ years of supply chain management experience. Exposure to CoE environment essential
• Core knowledge of logistics and warehouse
• Clear understanding and exposure to logistics and warehousing sourcing, network design and optimization, warehousing design and optimization, freight sourcing, cost reduction, Negotiation process
• Sourcing experience for global logistics and warehousing
• Process orientation
