Job Description

Role includes a broad spectrum of SC activities including:

  • Relationship management with key suppliers based in India
  • Development of production plans that are aligned to demand plans from S&OP process
  • Capacity planning and management
  • Daily execution follow-up (production efficiency, on time delivery, lead time) within the Supplier manufacturing area
  • Support the daily shipments towards the customers
  • Follow-up the availability of key materials to support ongoing production with set-up of the needed visibility to all stakeholders
  • Connection between External Supplier partner and internal International Nokia stakeholders (Supply Chain, Business Centre, Delivery Operations, Logistics, Product development) including the necessary execution reporting maintenance.
  • Define and manage the execution of the ‘to be” process flow for this specific activity

Put in place and review frequently the needed KPI for production follow-up

Ensures that daily/weekly/monthly output commitments of suppliers that are in scope of responsibility are achieved and reported

  • Ensures that daily shipment towards customers (in direct delivery mode) is running smoothly
  • Initiate corrective actions when production issues are identified and engage with correct Nokia persons, these include:
    • Delayed availability of material for ongoing production
    • Yield issues below normal expectations
    • Unavailability of sufficient production capacity (SMT, ICT, test)
  • Be Nokia on-site responsible person for correct introduction of product changes in combination with Nokia SCPM teams avoiding:
    • Production interruptions and customer delivery issues
    • Major phase-in / phase-out component sourcing issues (missing for phase-in, excess for phase-out)
    • Product not reaching the required quality standard

Communicate to international and global team of Business stakeholders, making sure that Supply Chain priorities are achieved

  • 5+ years of industry related experience in Production, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Materials Planning.
  • Degree or preferably a master’s degree in a business or engineering related fields is preferred
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and other database systems
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle ERP systems, Agile PDM systems
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) in English and inter-personal skills
  • Attention to detail and keen analytical skills required for reviewing massive amounts of data.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task workload, work effectively under pressure of tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and learn new processes within a short time frame
