Job Description

Role: Warehousing Lead
Reporting To: Head, Supply Chain, TWT
Type of Role: Setup and Lead 5 warehouses across the country
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Warehousing, with having lead multiple warehouses
 
Location: Mumbai. The office is currently Krislon House, Marol, Andheri East. The warehouse is at Sumeet Logistics Park, Bhiwandi.
Remote Work: This is not a remote work role. The role will be from the warehouse at Bhiwandi and will involve travel to other warehouses across the country.

About the job:
The Whole Truth is a 100% Clean Label brand that does not use any preservatives. This results in reduced shelf life and a complex Supply Chain. The expectations from this role will be:
 
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the warehousing function to achieve operational excellence and drive efficiency
2. Lead and manage a team of warehouse managers and coordinators, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
3. Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and inventory control
4. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination of inbound and outbound shipments
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and prepare reports to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement 6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess inventory
 
This role will be a team lead role and a full-time position

Skills and qualifications:
 
1. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a senior leadership role
2. Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
3. Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings in a warehousing environment
4. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive performance
5. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications 6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
 
Edge: Proficient in warehouse management systems and software such as Stockone, Vinculum, SAP, etc. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
