Workday is looking for a highly motivated and efficient Express Sourcing Specialist to play a key role in our Source-to-Pay process. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of low-to-medium dollar sourcing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will leverage your expertise in contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment to drive savings and mitigate potential risks while adhering to established processes and category strategies. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a strong understanding of procurement and sourcing principles, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, service level agreements, and other key commercial and legal terms to maximize savings and achieve defined goals
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential supplier-related risks
  • Execute low-complexity RFQs and quick bids to identify the best-value suppliers

  • Negotiation: Proven ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Program Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with specific industry regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bonus if you have a relevant certification (e.g. Certified Purchasing Manager)
Note: Candidates assessed to have lesser experience will be considered for Sourcing Specialist role
Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you’ll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote “home office” roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
