Purpose of the position:

• Assuring, the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the complicated logistics, to keeping an eye on the warehouse workers, scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained. Juggling a variety of tasks.
• Ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time
• Supervise stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
• Understanding the whole supply chain and coordinate effectively and liaise with customers, suppliers, freight and other service providers.
• Ensure 100% stock integrity, timely monthly closing of all activities, providing provision to finance.
• Achieve savings from warehouse function.
• MIS preparation & sharing with the senior management team.

Essential Responsible Areas

• To ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company polices, code of conducts and maintain health and safety standards, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Ensuring safe goods storage and ensure the site risk assessments are in place
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport vendors. Manage the business relationship and performance of delivery partner’s/service providers through frequent reviews. Create action plans that ensures business objectives and SLAs are met
• Organising the dispatch and delivery of goods, Issue delivery notes and other related documentation handling.
• Support inventory management, stock control and physical counts
• Manage storage space and handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met as per the standards set
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
• Execute, follow up and track delivery process and ensure deliveries are met target dates and master planning schedules
• Execute the agenda for supply chain savings initiatives with specific focus on delivery efficiency and cost.
• Supervise and coordinate to oversee the Warehousing/logistics projects as & when required
• Ensure the regular reporting and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required by management
• Lead whole internal and external warehouse team and manage their performance, training & hiring
• Creating and Implementing warehouse best practices, principles and policies

What are we looking for?

• Any degree in any discipline with additional qualification must have experience of Logistics and warehouse Management / Supply Chain management
• 8-10 years relevant experience with sound knowledge managing the Warehouse function Independently.
• Proven work experience in warehouse role
• Proven experience in a fast moving business function, preferred “CAN” making industry .
• Experience in SAP MM module
• Strong command of MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English and Hindi
