Fuso Tech Center India – Indirect Purchasing Specialist
Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Tasks
Manage procurement of goods and services in the shared services center, ensuring cost efficiency and vendor compliance.
Source and negotiate contracts for office supplies, IT services, travel, etc.
Maintain vendor database and procurement records
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies
Collaborate with finance and operations for budget alignment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or other relevant fields
Preferred: Master’s degree, MBA, CIPS, CSCP, CPIM or other qualifications related to supply chain and procurement are a plus
3–5+ years of experience in Procurement or Indirect Procurement
Business-level proficiency in English
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Business acumen and experience in negotiation and vendor management
Familiarity with Indian vendor landscape and compliance norms
Proficiency in using Procurement systems
Cost analysis and budgeting
Ethical sourcing and compliance awareness
