Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client’s logistics challenges.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Ocean / Air Export:

  • Support to Front-end team on daily task & activities.
  • Prepare and submit SI & VGM request on carrier portal. File AMS & ISF on Descartes website.
  • Update the Enterprise application with all necessary information for the shipment.
  • Track & trace the loading planning and update the information in system.
  • Maintain Smartsheet data on time with accuracy.
  • Creating Export shipment file based on SOP in enterprise applications.

Ocean / Air Import:

  • Managing Pre alert posted by Origin Team and confirm those in TMF by validating the client SOP. Ensure that Pre alert confirm in agreed SLA.
  • Inform origin Team if there are discrepancies in Pre alert posted to destination.
  • Maintaining the Smartsheet data and ensuring that data quality is maintained for better visibility to front end Operations Team.
  • Billing & invoice to customer as per the LANE Id & SOP agreed with client. Ensure that SLA & quality maintain in the Invoice process
  • Ensure that Vendor invoice validated as per agreed rates between Vendor and the Crane and raise if there are discrepancies in the rates charge by Vendor.
  • Track & trace the arrival shipment to Germany Port and update the estimate & actual as per the carrier information.
  • Upload the Commercial invoice, packing list & HBL in Smartsheet against the shipment.
  • Manages key account and provide all necessary support to client request.
  • Creating Import shipment file based on SOP in enterprise applications.

Skillset:

  • Must be aware of outlook 360 applications.
  • Typing speed between 20 to 40 WPM.
  • Team player

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to exploring and implementing new topics and solutions

Education

 

Preferred

Bachelors or better.

Experience

Required

2-10 years:

2 to 10 Years experience in Shipping Industry or Backoffice
