We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AGM/DGM, SCM to lead our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including warehouse management, procurement, and MIS. This role is critical in optimizing our supply chain to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of rooftop solar systems. The candidate will also develop and implement procurement strategies for residential and MSME projects across the country.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Efficient vendor management for components & services relating to Solar PV Projects
  • City-State-wise mapping of all relevant vendors for different SKU’s.
  • Development of Vendor evaluation, grading and engagement strategy to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to Solar PV Projects.
  • Negotiation of contractual & payment terms with vendors
  • Developing strategic relationship with vendors to develop better credit terms.
  • Responsible for regular Updation of SKU prices and availability on Freyr Energy’s in-house platform.
  • Responsible for all the tasks from raising of PO’s to payment reconciliation for all vendors
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
  • Supervision of all warehouses Pan India
  • Ensure timely renewal of third-party agreements for warehouses
  • Implementation of effective inventory management system at all warehouses to ensure accurate tracking and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Ensuring timely dispatch of material to all clients as per defined SLAs for all projects.
• Team Management
  • Lead the supply chain team in sync with their respective KRA’s / strategy of the company.
  • Allocate tasks and monitoring on regular basis.
  • Provide support & training to team-members where required.
  • Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Management Information Systems (MIS):
  • Utilize MIS to monitor and analyze supply chain performance.
  • Develop and implement reporting systems to provide real-time insights into inventory levels, order status, and supplier performance.
  • Budgeting & Reporting against all individual projects to Support design team in pre-sales costing and proposal preparation
• Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations with regards to material movement like GST/Invoicing etc as per industry standards.

Implement risk management practices to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Business Administration/Supply chain management
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience with a stint in a similar role.
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of SCM software like Zoho Inventory/SAP
• Good knowledge of accounts & budgeting skills
• Proficient in MS Office (especially excel & word )

Additional Requirements

• Prior work experience in a D2C/FMCG industry is a plus
• Work in a start-up is a plus
