Job role:

As an Airfreight Pricing and Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for searching and negotiation attractive rates with carriers and suppliers in order to provide a competitive offer to the customers, optimizing operational processes, and improving overall efficiency and profitability. This role requires strong negotiation skills, proactivity, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and ensure the better rates from various Airline Carrier, Iata and other agents to provide attractive offers to the customers.
• Negotiate with various suppliers to match the requirement of the customers till the lead is materialized.
• Handling inquiries & RFQs from customers and helping sales to secure bookings.
• Coordinating and negotiating with agents & customers to secure business.
• Provide high level of Customer Service to expand the business.
• Resolving issues of customers related to inquiries and quotations and generating new business with new customers.
• Developing & maintaining good coordination b/w sales and Operation.
• Proactive follow-up all major target customers, calling customers and following up after sending quotes and getting their feedback on pricing.
• Manage of imports and exports by air and sea, from the reception and documentation, to manage the delivery with transport company and forwarders.

Keeping of orders in company database. Issuing debit notes to customers and filling of expenses from providers.

Qualifications:

• Min 2 years in international Freight Pricing & Coordination.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Proactivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
• Experience with pricing negotiation and operations departments in Airfreight for both Import & Export.
