Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
  • Manage all logistics data with strong analytical skills.
  • Oversee the entire order-to-delivery process.
  • Handle stakeholder management, both internal and external, including all logistics service providers.
  • Oversee logistics data management, including Logistics contract management, customer master data, and logistics KPI databases.
  • Optimize logistics costs.
  • Coordinate logistics data with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage logistics costs effectively.
  • Monitor MIS and implement corrective actions if targets are not met.
  • Drive improvement projects within the logistics area.
  • Enhance customer management and work to improve customer satisfaction index scores.
  • Monitor operating costs for the location to ensure they stay within defined limits.
  • Conduct regular process audits.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and statutory regulations.
  • Provide adequate training for the team.
  • Assess Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Deliverables-

  • Publish the DWM for the logistics area across PAN India for all business units.
  • Oversee the order-to-delivery process.
  • Manage and optimize logistics costs.
  • Ensure qualitative, damage-free deliveries to maintain high customer satisfaction (PPM).
  • Plan logistics to minimize detention times for P2P movements.
  • Effectively monitor logistics performance from CFA.
  • Assist the Logistics Head in implementing new projects.
Education Qualification
BE/B-Tech/MBA
General Experience
Min 3-5 Yrs of relevant experience in Automotive Spares/Auto/Ancillary/ Logistic services/FMCG Logistics /eCommerce, preferably strong command in supply chain
Systems/ SAP knowledge:
MS Office & Hands on experience with SAP/Equivalent ERP
Any Additional Knowledge:
MM Module & SD Module, Access, PowerBi
Critical Experience
Functional Competency:
Adequate knowledge of Logistics Management including service & cost
Should have knowledge of QC tools, Problem solving tools.
Adequately conversant with Warehouse Management, Logistics Management, Procurement activity.
Leadership Competency:
Exposure to Logistics management
Should be team leader & Task Oriented
Should have Strong Communication Skills
