Assistant Logistics Manager

Job Description

 
  • Able to Manage all procedures of imports including handling various formalities, shipping, documentation for clearance of consignments & logistics and liaising with related parties.
  • Coordinate with CHA’s and other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective solutions.
  • Liaison with the forwarders on the shipment movement from HQ to India and keep a track of the same.
  • Should have knowledge of compliance related to medical Equipment’s and have communication skill to deal with custom officials.
  • Devise efficient tracking system to ensure transparency and real time update on delivery custom clearance and arrival at warehouse of import shipments as per committed timelines. Maintain records and able to coordinate with other departments for getting the work done.
  • Able to coordinate with the sales team and provide real time updates on the order processing/ imports and other related matters.
  • Coordinate and verify related bills and process in system.
  • Should be well versed with SAP and its functions
  • Should have good operational knowledge on Excel, power point, etc. to prepare reports and Dashboards.
