Job Overview

Ensuring the targeted Savings & monitoring the PPV, improve Working capital, Managing OTIF as well as reducing Quality rejection for I&C and Solvent category.

Strategic Contracts finalization at competitive prices using appropriate procurement levers. Manage strategic projects such as revenue de-risking and Alternate Vendor development to avoid a single source dependency and supply securities.

Active role in very important projects like- Budgeting , Spend Analytics, System improvement, Compliance Management, Team management, New R&D projects, ROW Cost reduction projects

SCM, QA, QC, Production, BD, PM , R&D, RA

RM manufacturers & suppliers , Out sourcing partners
Reporting Structure: Reporting to Senior General Manager, Direct Procurement
 
Experience
15-20 years

Effective RM management, Strategic supplier relationship management, Negotiation strategies, Teamwork, Critical & Creative problem-solving, customer centric, communication, result-orientation, decision-making, integrity

Competencies
  • Ensuring the targeted Savings & monitoring the PPV
  • Strategic Contracts finalization at the right time for high spend and critical material using appropriate procurement levers & negotiation techniques.
  • Vendor selection & evaluation based on various business and technical requirement.
  • Spend Analytics for deciding the classification of material based on Karljic Matrix , action plan for bottleneck and strategic KSMs.
  • Manage strategic projects such as revenue de-risking and Alternate Vendor development to avoid a single source dependency , supply securities and competitive price from vendors.
  • Vendor Engagement program like BCP, Vendor visit, rating, technical training & support to make fruitful long term business partnership with vendors without compromising on quality & services
  • Effective Vendor Quality Management to reduce the RM rejection and timely CAPA closers
  • Ensuring value add to internal customers with focus on achieving quick turnaround times & maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring to improve Working capital by extending the payment terms & supply chain financing.
  • Active role in very important projects like- Budgeting , System improvement, Compliance Management, Team management, New R&D projects, ROW Cost reduction projects
