About the department
You will be joining the Global Finance GBS Bangalore team, which was established in 2007. Our department supports Accounting, Finance & Procurement, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, Europe, North America, International Operations (IO), and GBS Bangalore. We strive to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to processes through standardization and efficiency.
 
The Position
As Associate Procurement Operations, you will be responsible to support the purchasing activities including Material Requirement Planning (MRP) orders processing, order fulfilment, invoice resolution & query management for Clayton Production Site in North America. Need to interact regularly with suppliers, LOBs (Line Of Business) & stakeholders.

  • Responsible for the Procure to Pay activities and meet all the defined operational KPI’s and individual target defined at process level and individual level.
  • Ensure on time processing of critical MRP requests received from LOBs and on time delivery of Past due items, Order confirmation, MRP reports. Ensure high level accuracy in creation/modification of price master data (info records) for inventory items.
  • Invoice resolution for ensuring on time payment to suppliers, Query management support to LOBs on P2P queries and monitor & review process updates.
  • Regular interactions with vendors to ensure on time order processing fulfilment to ensure seamless supply chain. Complete adherence to purchasing policies & guidelines.
  • Main internal stakeholders are project procurement team, accounts payable, category managers/directors, LOBs, main external stakeholders are suppliers.
Qualifications
We are expecting you to hold the below skills and knowledge:

  • Should have completed a bachelor’s degree from a reputed university and have 2-3years of experience in purchasing operations, from a leading organization.
  • In depth knowledge on Procure to Pay process.
  • High level understanding on Procurement value chain (Source to Pay).
  • Problem solving and Quality mindset.
  • Basic MS office knowledge.
  • Ability to navigate and build relations in large organizations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Keep deadlines and handle many simultaneous tasks.
  • Flexible to support under different time zones.
