The role of Associate Procurement Operations Lead acts as the procurement leader for the plant procurement operation to interpret requirements and meet business needs and Procurement financial goals. Serves as the collaborative connection amongst local procurement operations, Manufacturing organization and the Category management along with the Global shared services to ensure operational and transaction activities are delivered to meet business objectives.

Executes sourcing strategies made by the Sr Procurement Operations Lead for the plant, ensuring consistency with Global Indirect category strategies for all Categories for Aurangabad and in addition take the responsibility for Capex Procurement for Aurangabad plant. Execute negotiation strategy for local negotiations in MRO/Services and actively lead the local contract negotiations as required based on criticality or complexity. Manage high spend Capex procurement in coordination with the Category lead and also the Sr Procurement Operations lead for the Aurangabad plant. Resolving issues related to Procurement.
Directly manages the entire local Procurement Operations for Aurangabad plant. Take accountability of procurement, financial and operational performance and its impact on financial and operational performance of the site.
Execute change management within the procurement function and in the area of responsibility and drive improvements. Ensures appropriate and effective communication occurring at all organizational levels and also at the local plant leadership levels with consistent follow up and messaging. Acts as an escalation point for organizational or cultural change barriers and works to resolve and overcome barriers collaboratively with business partners. Closely work with MRO/Services and Capex Category Team for effective implementation of Strategies to drive savings projects for Aurangabad plant.
Develops relationships with local and regional suppliers to support business needs and the overall Global Procurement supplier segmentation strategy. Develop new suppliers for MRO and drives localization for the Aurangabad plant to eusure the targeted savings.
