About the Role:

Lead SC operations such as warehousing & transportation, at defined Geographies along with maintaining highest Service Levels
Lead Quality, Safety and Sustainability compliance and process compliance at all the warehouses at defined Geographies
Ensure cost effective and optimal SC operations at all warehouses by coordinating with relevant stakeholders

Main Responsibilities:

Distribution Management

• Determine the most cost-effective & efficient procedures, routes for shipments and fleet management
• Translate business needs and priorities into actionable logistics strategies.
• End to end ownership of all warehouse operations at defined geographies
• Strong Collaboration with Sales and Distributors to meet desired Service Levels and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing queries in timely manner
• Cost-effective and Efficient space and vehicle planning at warehouses
• Work on creation and implementation of new, more efficient deployment processes to increase efficiency and bring in cost effective solutions
• Facilitate and maintain healthy relationship between organization and vendors
• Train and supervise Warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and maintain best in class warehouse
• Ensure 100% compliance to global controls & policies on quality, safety & operations (for Warehouse and Transportation)
• Identify and lead projects related to process improvements and cost optimization

Who we are looking for:

EDUCATION
Graduate/Post Graduate (preferably in Operations or Supply Chain) with 4 -7 years of experience
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE (if required)

• Sound knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Logistics and Distribution Management
• Cold Chain Industry dynamics and Quality & Safety practices
• India Network Design and Complexities
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Power Point etc.)

• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
