As part of our growth agenda, we now have an opportunity to recruit a Global Demand Planner to support our activity in the Data Center market. This role will manage the demand and capacity outlooks for the data center product line in all global markets; and will aggregate the plants’ supply plan by part number into regional and global views to highlight areas of concern and facilitate strategic decision-making at a global level. This position reports to the Global Operations Manager for Data Centers. Preferred locations will be Annemasse, France; Van Wert, Ohio, Maumee, Ohio, or Pune, India.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will also include:

• Driving cross-functional alignment between Materials, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to ensure plants have visibility of demand, including strategic growth plans, and that capacity/supply plans are positioned to meet that demand.
• Leading alignment between the SIOP forecast, the sales forecast, new product launch forecast, and the Production plans. They will work closely with the other regional team members to ensure that the ABCQ, PFEP, and Replenishment plans are aligned and supporting SIOP.
• Assisting various project teams focused on strategic initiatives including value stream mapping and production footprint changes.
• Occasional travel between the sites for which they are responsible (up to 10%).

Background & Skills

Applicants should demonstrate:

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree alongside demonstrable relevant experience within supply chain management, business operations, or data analysis
• Development experience in Power BI or comparable big data platform.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
• Thorough understanding of MRP and manufacturing systems
• Procurement or supply chain management experience with global suppliers
• Experience with change management and project management
• Executive presentation experience

Advantageous would be:

• Supervisory or leadership experience in a plant environment, ideally in a supply chain or operations role.
• Certification in Power BI, SAP, or Anaplan
