In this role, you will oversee inventory levels, manage the balance of new and used products, and collaborate with various departments to identify and address obsolete inventories. What you’ll be doing

Global Inventory Planner oversees all inventory levels across the organization.

Ensures an adequate ratio of New and Used products used in the different studies depending on Country needs.

The Global Inventory Planner also works closely with Product Management and Warehouse to identify obsolete inventories and takes proper actions.

Oversee inventory levels and keep the right amount of stock level

Plan depending on Lead times and other factors the correct safety stock level

Tracking returns from clients and push the rework / upgrade / decom or repairs together with the Warehouse and Pre Prod Team

Oversee defective material and push teams to get them within warranty time out for repairs

Ensure that sufficient Material is available across our locations

Work with Logistic Site Management that material is available to produce the devices, Starter Kits etc.

Maintain a certain Level of New and Used products depending on shipping requirements

Improve Margin by optimizing the re-use of material based on preset goals

Work with Project Management / Project Coordinator on the returns and push for returns of the material from ending studies

Work with Demand Planners on DIO goals across LOBs

Identify with Product Management obsolete products and discuss with Finance the next steps

Present inventory levels to Leadership and Management
What we’re looking for
-
Bachelor’s degree in economics or business administration, or equivalent experience in statistics, supply chain, or materials/operations management is preferred.

3+ years of experience in a Global Warehouse Management or Demand Planning environment, preferably within the Clinical trial Business or Healthcare field.

Experience analysing large amounts of information/data and developing fact-based conclusions.

Strong ability to solve problems using various analytical tools, including root cause analysis.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience in a fast-paced environment; with an ability to work independently, and cross-functionally on all levels of the organization

Professional approach with high attention to details, deadlines and strong follow through with minimal direction.

Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.

Strong overall understanding of the supply chain function and how internal customers utilize the stock level information.

English is mandatory and language skills of local country may be necessary.

Strong presence with the ability to interact with senior leadership and internal stakeholders.

Presentational skills preferred
