Key roles & responsibilities:-
1. Strategy
a. Develop short and long term Commercial strategy to achieve the company vision and implementation of the same
2. Financial
a. Ensure improvement in profitability by adopting cost optimization methods in overall functioning of department
3. Customer
a. Ensure relationship management with suppliers/ customers
b. Ensure high level of Customer Engagement Index
4. Internal Process
a. Develop Annual Commercial Plan as per annual business plan & review the same
b. Ensure development of low cost outsourcing options
c. Ensure Vendor development and supplier audit being done to meet desired service level
d. Review techno-commercial evaluation and Negotiation for the procurement and negotiate to ensure cost effective procurement
e. Ensure statutory compliance with respect to procurement process as a whole
f. Ensure development and maintenance of Inventory Management System
5. Learning and Growth
a. Lead by example and consistently demonstrate the values espoused by the company
b. Develop future business leaders and successors for key positions in Mining operations.
