Job Purpose
Leading the Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement for Eternia business
 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

Supporting Actions
Manufacturing
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and manage production,
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage compliance with regulatory requirements
Supply Chain
  • Manage end to end supply chain, including sales & operations planning, inventory planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, packing etc.
  • KPI- OTIF, TAT, Logistics/Packing/Warehousing Cost, Procurement cost, Damage, Inventory,
Inventory planning
  • Assess inventory to be maintained based on sales projection/historic demand pattern, supply pattern, service levels etc.
  • Control on inventory aging, liquidation of old inventory, dead inventory
  • Must be able to adapt at Excel Modelling
Procurement- Extrusion
  • Work with various Hindalco plants for procurement of extrusion
  • Place production orders, define process flow/ SOP to ensure timely production, packing, storage and dispatch
Procurement-Hardware/Punching Tool/other materials
  • Vendor search, shortlisting, identification, contracting, onboarding
  • Product identification and development of customized products
  • Vendor portfolio de-risking
  • Vendor development- quality improvement, process improvement, packaging improvement
  • Commercial negotiation- pricing, warranty, credit terms
  • White labeling
  • Margin improvement for Hardware P&L
Warehouse Operation
  • Manage multiple warehouse for Hardware/Extrusion/Other material
  • Set-up of new warehouse
  • Manage inbound, outbound, kitting, inventory management
  • Manage Outsourced Warehouse Relationships.
Logistics
  • Vendor search, shortlisting, identification, contracting, onboarding
  • Develop and execute alternate logistics model as per the needs of the business- Milk-run, Cargo, Hub & Spoke etc.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery
  • Control transit damage, transit time, logistics cost
  • Work with last mile warehouses for inbound/oubound
  • Support customers in last mile logistics

Qualifications:

Bachelor Of Engineering,Master of Engineering

Minimum Experience Level:
20-25 Years
