Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Preparation of CI (commercial invoice) for import shipments with necessary approvals, this includes approvals from local finance on attributes such as inter org pricing
  • Work with HID Trade and the Clearing Agency for submission of customs documents per guideline and regulation
  • Receive and approve shipment Checklists for preparation of Bill of Entry per customs stipulation
  • Obtain Trade Approval prior to approving Original BE filing.
  • Coordinate with Finance for Duty Projections, Duty Utilization and Duty Payments per customs stipulation
  • Coordinate with Trade / Ops Manager to reply to Customs Queries
  • Escalate and coordinate with TA for HS / Technical write up per customs requirement
  • Coordinate with Trade / Ops Manager for approvals as necessary
  • Work with APAC Logistics for Shipment rates, comparison, and approvals per shipment
  • Maintain and update the in-transit report daily
  • Update and maintain Warehouse register
  • Coordinate for physical shipment delivery to the HID warehouse, prepare sufficient manpower and plan to receive, inspect and MRP label as necessary
  • PO / CI matching and related processes and manage deviations with approvals
  • Issue of BIS / CHIMS / WPC / EPR / RoHS / LM with appropriate approvals
  • Cost / time saving initiatives – implementation of better tools and processes to simplify the existing process if and as applicable
  • Export shipments (preparation and dispatch) as required – applicable knowledge such as SCOMET / CI / PL / Waybill Creation etc.
  • Master the MBL Process and support Master Scheduler on the MBL end to end process
  • Support on Shipment receipts and related activity such as QC Inspection / MRP label affixing etc.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team and perform oracle receipt as applicable
  • Master the MRP (Max Retail Price) label Process and support the team with MRP Creation / Validation as required to comply with local regulations and governance
 
Market Knowledge:
  • Familiar import and export logistics, essentially good experience on managing customs and inbound airfreights
  • Familiar with concepts of planning and process management
  • Familiar or exposure with local compliance such as BIS / WPC / EPR / LM / RoHS / CHIMS.
 
Education and/or Experience:
  • Graduate or Higher in Electronics / Computers or related
  • Preferred At least 2+ year or more related work experience in the same field.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Intermediate level of Knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
