Introduction

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Foundry Procurement Consumable team. This position will be responsible for managing Foundry raw materials procurement, consumables, maintenance related items, capex & other scope like subcontracting’s etc., which involves Supplier negotiation, material availability, Inventory management, Market price analysis, End to End SAP activities. Your role plays a crucial part in managing & developing procurement under Consumable BA, which will contribute to positively impact in the business.

In this position, you will report to Head of Consumable Procurement.

This position is mainly located in Metso Ahmedabad foundry.

You will join a team of Strong Procurement dedicated & passionate / strive to take lead in the challenging situations & strong ability to delivery results under pressure. We are currently building & developing working on Sustainable supply chain and system development.

We work closely with internal & external stakeholders – such as Production, Maintenance, Other foundry functions and Global procurement and supply chain teams. You will be interacting with Strong Vendor base located within India and other Global locations. Our team culture is all about Performing together & Keeping customer in center. The members in our team are located in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and other manufacturing locations.

What you’ll do

Managing Procurement activities related foundry Raw materials, consumable, Services with best cost and service for foundry operations.
Manage continuous improvement for Vendor development and cost benchmarking.
Manage large supplier base & implement required KPIs (Cost, Sustainability & delivery performance)
Market Intelligence, analytics and right actions to act and operate to meet business needs.
Manage the SAP data management, Process, Inventory controls & System utilization. Reporting / Analytics related to various business needs.
Contract management related to Service, Manpower, machining, other Ops, whatever is required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Stay up to date with technological advancements in inventory management & Procurement.

Who you are

Graduation / Post Graduation in the Supply Chain / Procurement
10+ year of experience related to Procurement, Supplier management, Inventory management.
High level skills are needed – SAP-Hana, Excel, Power Point, PBI, Jagger , market intelligence web based tools.
Strong Analytical skills are essential.
Able to meet target deadline and derive result under challenge situations / pressure.
Must be able to work for multiple projects at the same time and deliver on fast pace.
Strong liasioning, co-operation, co-ordination with the other team and performing attitude.
