Manager-Fulfilment Planner

About the role
This role is responsible to work with different Distribution Networking teams in order to establish service lines and identify opportunities to add value. Lead team by spearheading projects that contribute towards Tesco’s strategic Drivers and have a positive impact on Fulfilment & Organizational success.

  • Developing and leading a high performing team, creating an environment for success by setting direction and coaching them to succeed through inspiring conversations every day
  • Initiates and designs continuous improvements initiatives to drive performance within their teams
  • Accountable for achieving team’s objectives, stakeholder management and escalation management
  • Oversee and guide a team of Fulfiment Planners to ensure effective and efficient execution of transport, equipment & fuel planning
  • Provide leadership in planning of fleet, resources, fuel & equipment ensuring optimal stock levels and allocation to stores
  • Collaborate closely with DC managers and Distribution Network to align strategies and meet business requirements
  • Gather insights from previous events for forecasting upcoming seasons and review Distribution performance for the current season
  • Manage essential reports, including daily stock arrival, Resource planning, intake phasing, driver performance and route optimization analysis
  • Monitoring stock levels by each Depot to identify and infuse changes in planning schedules for better Fleet and prioritizing stores
  • Partnering with Fulfiment leadership team to prepare and present the Depot performance, staff utilization and proactive approach to eliminate business risks and issues
  • Partnering with Global Logistics to track inventory and plan for any delays on stock allocation and produce alternative plans to DC
