We seek an experienced, results-driven purchasing manager to join our team at Groww.
 
As a purchase manager, you will be responsible for handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimise costs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices within our procurement function.

Job Requirement

  • Develop procurement strategies for cost optimization and efficient supply chains.
  • Select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and sustainability standards.
  • Negotiate contracts for favorable pricing, terms, and mutual benefits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and pricing.
  • Manage and evaluate supplier performance, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor inventory to balance stock levels, avoiding shortages and excess.
  • Implement procurement systems for streamlined, efficient processes.
  • Present procurement metrics and reports to management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, supporting ethical and sustainable sourcing.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in the Indian market.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in the Indian market, with familiarity with local suppliers and sourcing channels.
  • Proven track record in sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices.
  • Expertise in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation.
  • Proficient in vendor and inventory management systems.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
  • Understanding of local and national procurement laws and regulations.
  • Experience managing spends in Admin, HR, IT, and Marketing.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, competitive environments.
Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech, Any Gradute with MBA
