Vacancy for Master Planner
 
Join us as a Master Planner based in Satara to synchronize the flow of material along the entire supply chain. This is performed at both an S & OP level and Master Planning level in order to optimize the utilization of production, supply capacities, inventory levels, and seasonal stock as well as balancing of supply and demand.

The position / About the Job:
In this job the Master Planner would be responsible for:
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Operate and coordinate the factory’s supply chain and ensure that it is in line with the product group’s expectations.
  • Review the factory’s ability to meet customers’ requirements and needs, propose activities to solve any gaps and be responsible for producing and compiling decision-making.
  • Analyze the cost impact of proposed actions.
  • Run improvement projects linked to the factory’s supply chain.
  • Responsible for planning parameters in the business system
  • Analyze and monitor forecast security.
  • Evaluate selected KPIs
  • Be active at Cell Status Board meetings.
  • Be active in problem-solving and other improvement activities.
  • Suggest improvements on Instructions / SOP’s
  • Always consider the possibility of eliminating waste
  • Engage in safety and quality work and immediately call TM/UM when problems or risks arise
  • Take responsibility for their own development and to stay informed.
  • Balance the supply and demand at a master planning level (1-3 months) and adjust the plan if needed to fulfil the customer needs.
  • Communicate decisions taken at the S&OP and secure execution.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels (IDS, slow-moving, customer lead times)
  • Optimize the utilization of the production, supply capacities, and seasonal stock as well as the balancing of supply, demand, and inventory levels
Who you are?
As a person who synchronize the flow of material along the entire supply chain. This is performed at both an S & OP level and Master Planning level in order to optimize the utilization of production, supply capacities, inventory levels, and seasonal stock as well as balancing of supply and demand.
 
What you can be?
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering from a reputed institute.
  • 3 to 5 Years of experience in the same field
  • Good English both oral and written.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience of working with ERP systems
  • To take initiative for problem-solving and improvement activities
  • To make an immediate value-based decision
  • Work according to the priority’s safety, quality cost
