PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Manage the team in charge of activities of Material Planning needs expression towards suppliers.
- Ensure application of Procure to Pay core model processes for material planning activities & master data management.
- Deploy action plan for performance improvement & risk management & cost efficiency.

Missions
- Apply core model process for material planning activities (external & internal suppliers) and master data
- Manage Supplier’s performances KPI’s & raw material coverage according to targets
- Collaborate with Procurement for risk/impact management process including supplier selection
- Ensure the action plans implementation between Teams and Suppliers
- Lead the supplier escalation process supporting Material Planners on animation of Supplier’s KPI performance
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Material Planning Manager – Metro & Urban Who will be in charge of Material Planning officers, taking care of the definition and control of adequate inventory levels of sourced materials, delivery scheduling (Scheduling agreements/Call offs) processing and managing suppliers deliveries and risks, according to Maintenance / NCR / CR-Retrofit / Operations/ Installation requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Internal suppliers: Ensure the core model process & organization from Purchase Requisition to Material Planning documents
- External suppliers: Ensure the core model process to launch Material Planning documents
- Ensure the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock, logistic constraints and supplier contractual agreements)
- Ensure the creation of Material Planning documents in line with Procure to Pay core model processes
- Organize and maintain regular reviews with Material Planners to ensure documents are sent to suppliers and respective delivery confirmation are received
- Ensure the MRP exception messages analyses performed by all Material Planners and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand…)
- Support Material Planners when issues identified and evaluate the risk/impact on production/projects
- Set up recovery actions with main stakeholders
- Supporting Material Planners in applying and follow the missing parts process application until stock availability
- Validate deliveries performances KPI’s with different stakeholders (Internal & External) and action plans
- Validate the top worst Suppliers with SDPM and support appropriate action plan
- Ensure application of appropriate communication routine with Suppliers based on their delivery performances by Material Planners
- Ensure the application (when necessary) of Supplier Capacity Management
- Ensure the application (when necessary) of Supplier’s Light Capability Assessment (LSCA)
- Contribute to risk/impact assessments and mitigation action plan
- Manage team performance, develop team competencies & provide feedback and register during Performance Management Cycle.
- Material scheduling / Manage Stock Policy and Size Inventory Levels – Adhere to Hard Inventory targets agreed with finance.
- HI Forecast Preparation and approval as per defined Cycle from Services Material manager/SCM Manager.
- Material Master Data and its accuracy testing .
- Monitor MRP Run & ensure accuracy of schedules based on scope & quota of supplier.
- Manage Material Net Demand – Adhere to MPS requirement and site business requirement
- Manage Material Availability (missing parts) – Ensure material availability before start of maintenance, Monitor RCA and action plan to maintain missing parts % within target.
- Demand anticipation /forecasting for high consumption part for CM to make sure 100% Part availability.
- RMC calculation & analysis with Firm Action Plan for Reduction ( PM Parts – <26 Week , CR parts – <8 Weeks , CM parts < 26 Weeks)
- Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product closure
- Manage Excess Stock – Monitor & Manage excess stock, slow moving, non moving.
- Exc msg 15 & 20 Value must be Zero.
- Slow moving/Non-Moving Cal . & analysis with Firm action plan for Liquidation & Trend to be in reducing Trend.
- -> Lead and representative from Material Planning (Depot) for end to end cycle ( Material Planning & Procurement)- Weekly Governance with CCB team, Sourcing & MP team to make Sure Part availability on time and minimum Inventory Holding.
- OTIF External> 99% & Internal >99% , RCA and action plan with Closure in Place.
- Needs expression to suppliers through Web based tool -Ariba
- List of Critical Parts & Stock availability Tracking
- Procurement / Manage Specific Conditions for Vendors – Ensure supplier adherence to specific condition agreed in Supply Chain Specifications document.
- Procurement / Manage Purchasing Document for Stock Items – Follow Purchasing flows guidelines as per Material Planning & SDPM handbook based on ABC classification
- Procurement / Manage Acknowledgement of Purchasing Document for Stock Items – Get the confirmations on firm schedules lines from suppliers through supplier portal
- Procurement / Follow-Up Needs Expression & Deliveries – Ensure firm and forecast schedule visibility to suppliers, secure delivery commitments on firm schedules, monitor and challenge the deviations with suppliers to secure on time material availability
- Procurement / Consolidate- Vendor Demand Multi-Business / Multi-Site
- Procurement / Coordinate Delivery Crisis Solving – Forecast delivery issues from suppliers and plan mitigation actions accordingly. Manage the delivery crisis situations so as to have minimum impact on site requirements
- Function Internal Standards / Identify Needs & Define Requirements for Internal Standards, Define, Improve & Validate Internal Standards, Manage Internal Standards Deployment

- NCR Parts Repair and replenishment against consumption and connect with PI/ warranty team to align with Customer/Supplier for revised DLP List against High Failure.
- NCR Parts replenishment from domestic & Overseas Supplier within timeline and analysis / Mitigation plan against late delivery or replenishment from supplier end.

- For NCR Parts – Alignment with CFT and Supplier for pick up material within 72 hrs. from disposition for repair.
- APSYS Req Analysis , Gap Identifitcation , Firm action Plan with Target date to reach level 3.
- Active Participation & Implementation – Central SCM Strategy at Sites.
- Team development – AIR Value demonstration with CFT & within SCM team.
