PURPOSE OF THE ROLE / FUNCTIONAL CONTEXT:
The basic purpose of this role is to have very strong levels of interaction with Customer Centers, Product Companies and other internal and external stakeholders. Ensure Optimum Customer Order Flow Management including Local and Exports Invoicing. The mission of this position is to ensure Delivery Lead Time Adherence and increase customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Administration:
- Handling Customer Orders, including order booking and releasing the Order, Acknowledgements to Customers.
- Working out the delivery dates and communicating with customers.
- Coordinating with customers on various order related queries, terms and conditions, regulations etc.,
Planning:
- Reviewing the confirmed delivery dates and coordinate with production for on-time deliveries.
- Daily stock checking.
- Allocating stocks as per the promised dates to customers.
- Shipment Planning.
- Coordinating with Finished Goods Stores for shipments/packing.
- Communicating with Customers prior to shipment, wherever needed.
Traffic:
- Generating Sales Invoices & Packing Lists.
- Pre-shipment documentation.
- Coordinating with Customs House Agents for Export shipments.
- Customer Support on shipments and related queries.
- Post-shipment documentation, including Marine Insurance.
- Sustainability Reporting.
- Preparing periodical Sales & Orders reports for internal analysis
IMS:
- Responsible for Corrective and Preventive actions.
- Responsible for implementing the IMS for logistics.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Educational: Diploma / B. Tech – Mechanical/ MBA
Experiential: Min 6-8 years of experience in Supply/Demand in Mining, Auto & Engineering with a similar profile in logistics. Computer literacy, good knowledge of manufacturing systems (MFG\Pro, SAP)
