Function Description
Global Commercial Services (GCS) serves millions of business customers around the world, from mom-and-pop shops to approximately 60% of the Fortune 500. We are the number one issuer of commercial cards globally, the number one issuer of small business cards in the U.S. and represent approximately 40% of the company’s total revenues. The Client hierarchy- COE focus is on understanding the client needs, providing consultancy, and execution to provide accurate and compliant data to global commercial clients. The team partners closely with the client, strategic partners, and multiple internal American Express teams – Client Management (CLM), Implementation (IM), Central Onboarding Team (COT), Account Consultancy Team (ACT), PA Servicing, Global New Accounts (GNA), Technologies and Operational Excellence (OE). This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GCS growth story in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating, open, fun, and collaborative environment. The incumbent in this role will be responsible to perform audits for onboarding & maintenance of program administrators globally, share corresponding audit reports, update and maintain standard operating procedures periodically. She / he would also be responsible to find gaps and work with Operations & various compliance stakeholders to close the gaps.
Key Responsibilities

- Perform audits on Program Administrator Onboarding & Data File Processes and share audit reports on time.

- Identify key regulatory mandates across markets and perform risk assessment of the impacted areas.

- Summarize, communicate results and recommendations to close identified gaps.

- Validate the actions taken by analysts, address findings in a simple yet effective manner.

- Undertake and effectively execute multiple concurrent audits, or other tasks with an elevated level of personal accountability.

- Maintain audit tracker, update and maintain standard operating procedures periodically after due sign off from Operations and compliance partners.

- Follow processes to ensure and monitor the integration of regulatory changes & updates into the Operational Risk framework and training materials

- Support sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterprise
Minimum Qualifications
-
- 1+ years of relevant audit or customer experience is a must.

- Knowledge and experience in Program Administrator Onboarding, CID Hierarchy, AML & KYC related procedures is desirable.

- Ability to think analytically, communicate complex issues in a simple yet effective manner is a must.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills that deliver quality, actionable and beneficial feedback on potential control issues and solutions to close gaps.

- Self-Motivated, Initiative-taking and an eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate with minimum 1+ year experience in a client servicing environment.
Technical Skills/Capabilities:

- Knowledge of GCS products, services, operations, policies and procedures

- Compliance or other control group experience
-
- Strong reporting and analysis skillset
-
- Proficiency with MS Office applications – High proficiency in EXCEL required.

- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

- Experience with Regulatory Business Self Testing preferred but not mandatory.

- Experience with technology control testing including interface inputs, reports, application security, randomizer and business continuity.
- Compliance certifications preferred, but not mandatory.
