In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Forecasting, Procurement (Local and Imports) for all goods, services including all categories (Direct, Indirects, PS) & Inventory Management for Kimberly-Clark, India. It creates and implements a culture of effective internal controls, risk management and governance for organization-wide procurement process.
  • This position engages with Country Leadership to drive Business and Functional Priorities. The position will develop, create and implement robust, sustainable business processes. In line with the K-C Regional and Global guidelines.
  • It also works with Cross Functional Teams to deliver DTV and YOY Cost savings and continuously strive to explore avenues of cost reduction across the chain. This would include Regional and Global lift and shift opportunities.
  • Drive the RFQ process, define evaluation criteria, identify, and select suppliers, execute the evaluation process, refine, and validate sourcing and purchasing options, manage buy-in of business unit leaders both locally and regionally.
  • Responsible to build sound relationships with suppliers and partners (internal and external)
  • Manage contract information to ensure that portfolio has consistent information and renewals, or termination due date are under control.
  • Continually look for ways to exceed customer’s expectations, increase efficiency implement better processes and achieve cost savings for the areas responsible.
  • Advise internal customers on procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle.
  • Supplier evaluation/sourcing
    • Identify, select, evaluate determine the optimised supplier base.
    • Work with suppliers to find ways of qualifying/improving supplier performance
    • Negotiate major items and conditions for all contracts (price, delivery, payment term) along with the project manager and Country Lead Procurement
    • Implement annual supplier audit and appraisal
  • Internal customer service and control
    • Ensure contracts in place and updated in system for all services / goods procured as per K-C IC and Legal / Procurement guidelines.
  • Alignment with Local / Regional & Global Stakeholders
    • Understand and communicate local plans with the Regional Team
    • Work closely with regional category Team for implementation / cost savings / deriving values in local market with Regionally driven projects.
    • Ensure Localisation is a part of the process and able to communicate and seek alignment with the regional teams.
  • Cost/ Cash Saving:
    • Own Procurement KPI- Financial commitment for Cost/ cash saving by Initiating saving activities to achieve the target.
    • Monitor and follow up the progress to ensure everything is on track and result oriented.
  • Audit handling
    • Organise and maintain all documentation related to procurement in the system
    • Independently handle Internal / External audits related to the Procurement department

In one of our Supply Planning Lead roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Professional with majors in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement with longer than 10 years of experience in FMCG.

  • Excellent communication skills in English for managing supplier relationship management and internal stakeholder management, both written and speaking.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Highest level of integrity/ Compliance.
  • Negotiation Gold Standard/ Strategic Category Management.
  • Learning agility
  • Analytical capability
  • Solving problem.
  • High resilience to move fast in changing and dynamic environment.
  • Procurement Digitalization (SAP/ Coupa/ ETQ/ Wave – cost saving tracking system/ Power BI)
  • Should be able to collaboratively work across functions / geographies (Regional/Global teams)
  • Should have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous challenges.
