Job Description

Procurement Strategy Development:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and project requirements.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality standards and pricing criteria.

Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Product Sourcing:

Source a wide range of interior products, including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, faucets, vanities, tiles, flooring, wall cladding, kitchens, doors, mirrors, decor, tableware, furnishings, and nursery items.
Stay updated on market trends and new product developments to keep our product offerings competitive and innovative.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.
Coordinate with the warehousing and logistics teams to optimize storage and distribution processes.
Cost Control and Budget Management:

Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all procured products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues or discrepancies.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Job Expectations:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on interior products or related industries.
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and procurement management.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Qualification:

Degree in relevant field

Minimum Job Experience:

2-3 years

Reporting to:

Head of Department

Travel:

Yes, as and when required.
