About the Role:

Ensure the business continuity executing all procurement transactional activities and related key administrative duties and data reporting, working cross category. Monitor the performance using dashboards.
Manage PSC team in the Region ensuring business continuity and timely performance of operations.

Main Responsibilities:

SERVICE (DEMAND) PROCUREMENT
Involved in PRs workflow from requestors and collaborating in case of unclear information.
Supporting buyers / Proc. Category manager to create contracts and Price lists.
Manage the relationship with Stakeholder (Business Partners, Category Managers and Area/Region Procurement) for any emerging issues related to the service and eventually escalation process.
Ensure proper escalation for emerging issues and fostering innovation in process (along with PCC/tools/IT) in order to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
DELIVERY PROCUREMENT
Monitor the procedures and policies for the requisitioning and order management.
Coordinate the activities of purchase orders creation and related procurement activities execution (i.e., POs, contracts, price lists etc.)
Ensure Work items management (price/quantity/vendor mismatch) in conjunction with BPO and Buyers
Control that guidelines and operative procedures for the procurement operations and contract administration are implemented.
Ensure the workload distribution and optimization and manage administrative activities (e.g. holidays, sick leaves, etc.)
Acknowledge guidelines to the team to optimize workload distribution.
Management of external teams (Supplier Enablement Team – SET , other teams)
Vendor Master Data: coordination/registration/update/activation of new suppliers and support in process follow-up
Implementation of best and standardized practices inside Region PSC and in alignment with PSC global operating model
DATA ANALYSIS / REPORTING
Ensure Proc. Service Center overall performance (KPIs, SLAs, etc.) monitoring.
Perform spend reporting, data analytics to support the Front-office.
Support escalated issues solving.
ENVIRONMENT – The position Works in terms of Clear Instructions, Short term objectives, Medium term goals & Long term goals.
Decision Making – The most important or relevant decisions that position must take:
Organization of team in terms of workload and adequate back-up in
Order to ensure business continuity.
Selection and definition of metrics (KPIS) summarizing activities of team
Prioritization of tasks in peak season (in collaboration with internal client)

Who we are looking for:

  • Graduate (Preferably Engineering) OR Supply Chain Professional degree
  • 7 to 15 years of experience working in procurement.

Special knowledge and / or training:

  • General knowledge of Procurement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of procurement processes (RFx), industry, and suppliers.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize
  • Good problem solving approach
  • Ability to prioritize and take decisions
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba purchasing modules
