Production Planner SCM

What you’ll do:
This position will be based in Bangalore and will be in aerospace operations in supply chain management. The principal role of this position is to support Aerospace Business in the region of planning activities. This includes Product planning, Master production scheduling, Production planning, and dispatch planning. Releasing work orders as per MPS, Coordinating with procurement, ensuring the material is ready for production, and ensuring the timely shipment. Coordinate with the sales team and provide proactive information about the sales orders, maximise the sales, and avoid the past due. Ensure the customer OTD is as per the profit plan.

“Responsible for the entire planning activity of the plant
Review the customer order, check the cumulative lead time and provide the order confirmation to the sales team
Review the customer orders and prepare the weekly rolling master production schedule (MPS)
Based on MPS, prepare the shipment plan
Coordinate with production to close the work order within the due date
Coordinate with the logistics team, ensure timely shipment dispatch, and avoid the customer OTD hit.
Coordinate with Project team, plan for parts setup, release VAD, FAI work orders,
Ensure proactive communication with the sales team for customer orders.
Ensuring the data is available readily and continuous improvement of the planning process
Work towards the digitalisation of the planning process and ensure the process is in place.

Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech
Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning & procurement in Engg.
Company preferably in Aerospace or with any Manufacturing Industry
Skills:
Through an understanding of manufacturing processes as well as material planning, Inventory management, etc.
Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)
Expert in Excel, PowerBI and PPT
