Senior Analyst – Materials

“The principle role of the Sr. Analyst – Materials (Inventory Management) is to work with ES-AMER regional materials & divisional teams to drive initiatives across Inventory reduction, develop various models such as Entitlement, segmentation, classification & setting up processes & systems from the materials management perspective. Apart from this incumbent will work with Business Units and Sales Organizations to define stock assortments of finished goods for the business in all divisions to ensure the highest possible customer service with the lowest possible inventory and scrapping risk. The incumbent will be also responsible for driving digitalisation & productivity improvment across the team by collaborating with Digital SC team & experts within materials function

This individual will support the Global Materials team and Eaton sites for business process improvement and projects in the area of materials management. The scope is further extended to taking new transitions, developing new supply chain processes and horizontal deployment of best practices. The role will primarily focus on Materials Management but shall also encompass aspects of overall Operations Management for Industrial Manufacturing.
Person has to deal cross functionally with multiple functions including planning, sales, production, finance and leadership team.”
“Inventory Management Roles & Responsibility
Should be able to work independetly to drive Inventory reduction projects by working closely with buyers / Planners in GSC COE & business by effectively utilising Inventory profile, Swapping tool & other advanced Inventory modelling & Analytics tools
 Should be able to set up process & define criterias around modelling Inventory with Entitlement , Segmentation & Calssification (ABC/XYZ) approaches
 Inventory Analytics with Entitlement , Assortment / classification & modelling for 70 sites in ES-AMER
Deciding the approach around product line wise inventory stocking strategy & visualization by working closely with Director -Global materials for ESA
Inventory Profile review & slow Moving Inventory reduction for 40+ buyers in COE with $ impact
 Should be able to lead & Independently work on global projects across various supply chain areas & is able to forge relationship with stakeholders across cross functional hierarchies
 Hands on experience in Power BI with DAX modelling, SQL & Excel with VBA (Having understanding of cloud system like Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage)
 Work in collaboration with digital team to rationalize Supply Chain & Inventory reporting & drive productivity improvement initiatives via digitalization of SC processes
 Demonstrate strong functional knowledge & working experience related to materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to supply planning, replenishment planning, MRP/ material planning & inventory performance measures like ITR & DOH
Enhance & support the materials management initiatives and possess a good understanding of P2P cycle,. supply planning concepts, inventory management concepts and ERP system lanscape.
Work on on materials management processes and drive improvement projects with a consultative approach
In Depth Knowledge of SAP, P2P Transactions, Business Intelligence tools (SAP-BW) or any other standard ERP systems / tools
 Project management expertise with experience of driving improvement project in area of materials management in a cross functional, global environment.”

Qualifications:

“Graduate /Post Graduate especially MBA (Operations) with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience related to Inventory Management, Material Planning & supply chain management in global environments
CPIM certification will be an added advantage”
