Job Description
08 Team: Join our dynamic team as an Senior Associate – Product Operations in the Product Management CoE and play a crucial role in driving strategic product initiatives that enhance our market position and customer value.
The mission of the Product Management CoE Drive product excellence and enable product management to effectively set strategy, prioritize initiatives, and streamline workflows to deliver world-class customer-centric products. This team reviews all product change requests to ensure changes are strategically aligned and thoroughly planned before execution. We provide oversight for product changes that will drive the Commodity Insights strategy forward, maximize customer value, and deliver ROI.
Responsibilities and Impact: In the PMCE team, you will support strategic and operational product initiatives to accelerate S&P Global Commodity Insights’ growth, performance, and market position as a leading provider of energy and commodities information. As a member of the growing PMCE team, you will champion best practices and operational support towards an effective Product Management and Operations function.
- Document product management change processes end-to-end (non-technical).
- Support the drive for adoption of new processes across Product Management & operational teams.
- Handle Product Operations queries and approvals for new product requests with internal stakeholders.
- Run KPIs from established SLAs to provide ongoing measurement for success.
- Schedule Product leadership and product workstream calls, finding appropriate times within leadership’s busy global calendars.
- Take notes/minutes within Leadership, Governance, and workstream meetings to document accountability and business actions.
- Plan, generate documentation and reference materials in advance of the monthly Product Governance meeting.
- Identify areas of opportunity to “lean” processes or automate within your role or existing functions.
- Check product release codes against product governance requirements with our commercial team.
- Problem-solve, give guidance, and make decisions together with operational support teams.
- Support any ad-hoc projects related to Product Operations management.
What we’re looking for:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-4 years of experience in Product Operations & Strategy function.
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Wiki, MS Visio for Process Mapping, Azure DevOps.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- Background in process automation and process enhancement.
- Ability to think critically.
Preferred Skills:
- Fluent in the concepts of LLM, AI application
- Familiarity with Salesforce and process automation tools (e.g., MS Power Automate).
