The Role

As a Senior Procurement Contract Specialist with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….

  • To provide Contract Administration in Worley Contracting activities at an experienced level, in accordance with the Project Execution Plan for contracting activities on a Project and Compliance with Worley and Customer Business Management Systems for Supply Chain Activities. Comply with Company and Project contracting policies and procedures and act within limits of delegated authority.
  • Provides contract administration support to the allocated project(s)
  • Support Contract Manager and contracts team in the administration, in all aspects, of all Construction and Engineering Contractors during the Pre-contract and Post- Contract Administration activities.
  • Work with Project contracts team to support in general preparation of all pre and post-award activities including:
  • Compilation of RFP/ITT/ITB packages
  • Receives and handles all queries from bidders including co-ordination of discipline response to queries. Indicates distribution of correspondence
  • Facilitate RFP/ITT/ITB evaluation process
  • Attendance in Contractor meetings (KO; Bid Clarification; Early Warning Reviews etc;) and taking of minutes for distribution thereafter
  • Compile proposal summaries and award recommendations for approval and signature
  • Maintain contract files and report status of activities performed and maintain all correspondence, site instructions and Contractor change registers
  • Maintain financial securities and insurance certificates, tracking for expiry and close-out
  • Review all requests for compensation for extra work, applications and invoices from Contractors for contractual compliance and co-ordinate their further review and approval.
  • Provide information and data to Project Contracts team as required to assist with conducting meetings with Contractors on any commercial or contractual aspects.
  • Handling and resolving of any administrative and commercial issues related to each Contract, subject to submission for approval to appropriate level of authority
  • Perform close out of Contracts

Experience Required:

  • Experience in any of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refinery , Chemicals and Fertilizer industries and having exposure to EPC/ EPCm / PMC kind of Projects, including previous experience in contracts and experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Minimum 7-12 years’ experience to include experience in the relevant discipline and in supervising a team.
  • Experience in CRM (formerly ProCon) or other SCM system preferred

Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification or experience, preferably in Engineering, Business administration, Quantity surveying or related field.
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, contracts.
