Purpose of the Job:
- To coordinate various warehouse operation process (Material inward, inventory management, material dispatches, documentation, Subcon and FG receipt) within respective shifts. Coordination with production, CSD, Transporter, demand planning, internal Sales and ensure timely and accurate material dispatches. Maintain smooth material flow internally between production and warehouse. Maintain Inventory with high accuracy.
Description of main tasks:
The Incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:
Material dispatch
- Responsible for material dispatch as per Sales order.
- Ensure 100 % dispatch accuracy. Tracking & handle customer complaint
- Monitor and control TAT.
- Sales Return
Coordination with Cross Functional team
- Monitor and control supply of material to production line without interruption.
- Insure to receive finished /semi-finished good continuously from all production lines without error.
- Work closely with Production, CSD, Transporter, and warehouses to streamline logistics process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and improve processes.
- To coordinate with Sub- contractor for job work products.
Quality Assurance Management
- Implement and maintain quality control measures in logistics.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
SAP- WMS user
- To be a Key user of WMS system well understand about all WMS process and able to resolve issues within the process.
Picking Operations Management
- Develop and implement picking strategies and workflows to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor picking performance metrics, such as pick rates, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of picking materials to optimize warehouse space, gangway jam and facilitate easy retrieval.
Logistics Management
- To organize warehouse for the outbound movement to ensure efficient logistics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to suggest innovative solutions.
3PL staff management and their training/ Managerial Responsibilities
- To monitor and control performance of 3PL staff by constantly training , devising policies to ensure high level of accuracy for every material transaction.
- To monitor and control performance of other contractual service provider like fork lift and loading/unloading services.
Inventory Management & Reporting
- Monitor inventory accuracy, including inconsistencies in tracking leftover stock, wrong picking, and missing location accuracy.
- Develop standardized procedures for receiving, picking, replenishment, and inventory reconciliation.
- Analyze Sundries & accessories inventory levels and trends to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations through better replenishment cycle.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent shrinkage, loss, or damage to inventory.
- Provide comprehensive training to warehouse staff on inventory management best practices, including proper handling, labeling, and storage procedures.
WAM Implementation
- To Lead, plan & implement Worldwide Armacell Mindset (WAM) manufacturing for Pune Plant and promote operating in a continual improvement environment
Documentation
- Monitor and control of preparation of invoice, EWay bills, packing list without any error.
- Cross check unloading slip and invoice, ensure to handle documents to respective parties on time.
- Provide documentation support during internal audits, regulatory inspections, or customer audits as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for all relevant documents, both electronic and hard copies.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound, job work and outbound shipments, including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and withdrawals.
5’s & Safety
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining 5S methodology and safety practices within the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards and mitigate risks.

- Diploma / Graduate in Any Field.
Professional Experience (how long)?
- 4 to 8 Yrs.
