Job Description

Mission:
Facilitate operational buying & support in meeting SE ambition of business. Identification of Suppliers in consistency with global/regional commodity strategy and supplier strategy. Guide selection with a purchasing approach (Total Cost of Ownership, Innovation, avoid single sourcing, promote standardization, supply chain flexibility, quality). Analyze and challenge the needs. Support Qualification of suppliers based on SAM audit process.
Negotiation with supplier to drive YOY productivity, Drive QVE & Alternate sourcing projects. Contract management with the supplier & ensure smooth supply of quality parts with right qty as per scheduled time. Ensure data & system compliance. Drive supplier improvement projects. Drive Supplier consolidation projects.
 
Expectations:
 

Ø Development of strong supplier base capable of supplying good quality parts as per committed schedule.

Ø Drive YOY productivity using various tools

Ø Supplier base optimization

Ø Part Supplies qualification and having good parts flowing thru the product realization phase.

Ø Development of quality parts with Suppliers with optimum cost.

Ø Compliance on ROH’s & REACH directive as per Schneider Guidelines.

Responsible for Supplier Identification , Audits & development of products based on the specification provided. Develop quality parts in optimum cost with suppliers.

Responsible to drive Purchasing Productivity, Supplier Concentration to achieve desired targets.

Responsible for deployment of Schneider Supplier Quality management methods and tools at suppliers place. Lead supplier excellence program. SAM, SQM and SPM modules deployment
Responsible for Continuous development and improvement of supplier systems, product and process quality
Full
Work closely with Supplier Quality & Supply Chain to ensure supplier issues are minimised & ESSR & DPMe targets are achieved.
 
Support
Maintain PP contracts, Tooling agreements & Tool Holding Certificates as per KIC guidelines. Ensure compliance as per KIC guidelines.
 
Full
Responsible for Purchasing Master data updation & maintainance.
