Sr. Specialist, ProcurementJob Description

We are looking for a seasoned Global Procurement Sr. Specialist, for Gurgaon, India
The identified resource is expected to manage the procurement activities for India
Achieve in meeting Organization Cost saving goals as well as internal & customer SLA in conjunction with organization policy & Values.

• Non-IT Sourcing & negotiations (exposure to IT sourcing would be a plus)
• VMSA / Contract Management
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Building Vendor Relationship
• Achieving Annual CTO / Savings Targets
• Meet Organization code of conduct and compliance with Procurement policy
• Develop strong process and build Team to manage procurement with world class standards
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA would be preferred
• Any specialization / Certification in Procurement & Supply chain management would be an added advantage
• Overall 4-5 years of experience with hands-on experience in Procurement role.
• Good knowledge of Procurement Global Best Practices
• Good knowledge / exposure in Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Expertise on Data base management i.e. MIS and dash board preparation.
• Exposure to corporate presentation, data analysis, spend analytics would be an added advantage
• Effective communication skills, knowledge of local language(s) is a plus
• Good knowledge / exposure of ERP(s) or Procure to Pay tools
• Vendor Management: Must have soiled his hands in discovering strong suppliers, initiating business and organization partnerships, maintaining relationship and periodic supplier evaluation.
• Negotiation skills: Must have ability to negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Order Management: Know-how to finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, ensuring best practices.
• Contract Management: Knowledge of Agreement terms, examining and test existing contracts; performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements
