Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform all procurement and contracting activities including execution of statements of work, category management, spot negotiation, and closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership (cost, service, quality).
• Assist in implementing a category strategy.
• Develop expert knowledge of Global Procurement’s policies and procedures.
• Develop and continually strengthen knowledge of respective markets, competitors, and product innovations.
• Assist in maintaining a supplier performance program for key strategic suppliers within the Marketing category.
• Provide periodic reporting for management on Procurement activities and savings.
• Execute purchase orders with suppliers that fall within your spend threshold.
• Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential areas of improvement.
• Build working relationships internally with constituents across BMC.
• Build and maintain working relationships with suppliers.
• Consult with appropriate subject matter experts on supplier agreements.
• Work closely with all necessary BMC stakeholders to fully understand their needs from Procurement.
• Utilize purchasing cards (when possible) to complete purchasing transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of purchasing card transactions within CAR.
