Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Job Description

Summary:
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing routines to ensure alignment across multiple planning systems, in terms of both master and transactional data, in collaboration with process owners and SME’s.
 
The role requires a detailed understanding of supply chain planning, system parameters, and the integration points between ERP and advanced planning systems. The incumbent will collaborate with stakeholders from across the supply chain and associated functions as required.
 
The incumbent will also monitor inventory parameters and inventory holdings, liaising with the Network Planning function to ensure correct settings are adhered to and stock holdings are monitored to ensure potential exposures are alleviated.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Drive planning parameter and master data alignment across current and future planning systems, including SAP ECC, SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP S4/HANA, and SAP IBP
  • Drive transactional data alignment across current planning systems, including SAP ECC, SAP APO and Kinaxis RapidResponse
  • Work with the Fit For Growth program on the ‘co-existence’ process, during the period of working across two ERP systems, to ensure planning data is correctly aligned, ensuring accurate plans across all locations.
  • Follow and assist in enhancing Global Standard Processes relating to the Supply Chain Planning function.
  • Perform analysis to determine and address excess and obsolete inventory. Determine course of action for those items impacted through close collaboration with relevant functions.
  • Monitor and maintain statistical based safety stock functionality, ensuring system parameters align to calculated values, understanding any necessary exceptions.
  • Work with the analytics team to develop/validate, and subsequently run reports/dashboards to assist in delivering the above objectives.
Essential Functions of the Role**:
  • Talking, Hearing, Seeing/Reading, Ability to operate keyboard and standard office equipment (file cabinets, copier, fax, etc.), and travel.
 
Work Experience Requirements
  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
  • Preferred length of experience:
  • 7+ in Supply Chain Planning environment
Education Requirements
  • 3-year college degree required
  • Professional Supply Chain Qualification preferable
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
  • Global supply chain planning processes
  • Influencing without authority
  • Collaborating with global colleagues
  • Proficiency in SAP IBP
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC, APO, and/or S4 HANA
  • Proficiency/Knowledge of Rapid Response
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
