Job Description

As a supply chain specialist, you will contribute to Sirva’s success by managing support functions of supply chain operations and ensuring that day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved.
This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within each of the departments in the Supply Chain to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations. The successful candidate will be handling back-end support operations responsible for issue resolution and exception processing.
The successful candidate will possess superior collaboration skills to successfully work with stakeholders including but not limited to Client Services, the greater Supply Chain Management teams, and Client Accounting / Finance
Duties of the role

  • Data integrity by timely maintenance, consistency, and accuracy of data over its entire life cycle, is a critical aspect to the design, implementation, and usage of Novus which stores, processes, and/or retrieves data.
  • Manage and resolve queries and escalations on a timely basis.
  • Need to be a team player with excellent ownership.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with any statutory or legal requirements.
  • Ensure all resolutions and processing align with the process and rules of engagement.
  • Communicate at regular intervals to the stakeholders advising on the status of the request.
  • Save all departmental documents electronically in an easy-to-retrieve location and adhere to a paperless environment.
  • Work closely with our supplier management team, client accounting teams and suppliers in multiple locations across the world to ensure quality and timely services are being rendered to our customers.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base for the betterment of overall operations.
  • Recommend process improvements changes based on business objectives.
  • Projects and/or tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Complete the process of replacing the customer’s original files in Novus via the Cancel/Re-initiation process.
  • The position provides backup and support to key positions within the Supply Chain team.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in business operations process/ Freshers with good supply chain knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of the relocation industry will be an added advantage
  • International experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrate high levels of supply chain excellence
  • Experience in multichannel communication environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with employees from other departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Career-oriented individual looking for a long-term association
