Here is a description of the role we are opening:
 
Responsibilities
  • Play a key role as Supply Chain Specialist for Demand and Supply Planning for Mumbai site
  • Conduct weekly forecast on sales demand of material and drive continuous process improvement process for the site
  • Administer the supply chain function entailing supply planning, certification, logistic operations (inbound, warehousing, outbound), customer service (order-to-invoice, customer relationship, service strategy)
  • Assess overall supply chain from factory to customer focusing on regional and country logistics network infrastructure to design innovative solutions, reduce operational costs and improve delivery time
  • Ensure end-to-end movement & storage of inventory and finished goods from origin to consumption
  • Coordinating with customs authorities for smooth import and export of shipments from and to various countries
  • Monitoring the logistic process between production & dispatch, encompassing preparation of the packing list, invoices, & material handover to the transporter/clearing agent
  • Sourcing direct and indirect spend- ingredients, packaging and capital expenditure (CAPEX); adapting a variety of external market conditions and internal business environments
  • Managing availability and delivery of right quality materials at the right time, price and terms; devising efficient logistics management system to ensure delivery of the goods / shipments as per committed timelines and cost
Qualification
  • 5 years of working experience as supply chain specialist in an semi-conductor or electronic component manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering / Supply Chain
  • Experience in supply chain management and S&OP
  • Hands on experience with SCM softwares
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess problem soliving mindset and able to work in multiculture environment
  • Fluent in English
