Inviting application for a Vice President – Supply Chain & Procurement Transformation Lead   

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President to lead and scale our global Supply Chain & Procurement Transformation portfolio. This is a strategic and high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and innovation across end-to-end supply chain functions—Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Planning, Order Management, and Inventory Management. 

The ideal candidate is a seasoned supply chain executive with deep domain expertise, strong technology fluency, and a proven track record of leading large global teams while driving measurable business outcomes through ERP transformation, analytics, automation, and AI adoption. 
Experience in SCM, Procurement, ERP, and Data & Analytics, the candidate should bring cross-industry exposure and a passion for building high-performing teams, optimizing operations, and delivering value at scale. 

Responsibilities 

Leadership & Operational Excellence 

• Lead global Supply Chain & Procurement transformation programs with a strong focus on P2P, order management, vendor management, and inventory optimization.
  • Drive operational excellence by standardizing processes, improving cycle times, and enhancing supplier collaboration.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks, performance metrics, and delivery discipline across all SCM engagements. 
  • Integrate automation, analytics, and AI into supply chain operations to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability. 
  • Champion best-in-class supply chain practices that align with client objectives and industry benchmarks. 

Digital, ERP & Process Transformation 

• Lead end-to-end ERP modernization initiatives across SAP, Infor/Baan, and related procurement technologies.
  • Drive process digitization, workflow automation, and integration across P2P, sourcing, and supply planning functions.
  • Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) governance to improve data quality, lineage, and standardization. 
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design scalable platforms that enhance visibility, forecasting, and decision-making. 
  • Lead enterprise transformation programs that deliver measurable impact in cost reduction, compliance, and operational efficiency. 

Data, Analytics & AI-Led Innovation 

• Partner with clients to adopt data-driven supply chain strategies, leveraging BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Lumira) and advanced analytics.
  • Build and nurture Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for supply chain analytics, inventory optimization, and AI-enabled planning.
  • Drive innovation-led origination and solution design, including AI/ML-based forecasting, real-time insights, and Agentic AI use cases for P2P. 
  • Influence digital investment priorities and support large deal pursuits as a domain and delivery SME. 
  • Promote a culture of data quality, governance, and insight-driven decision-making. 

Platform Engineering & Technology Leadership 

• Lead initiatives in cloud data pipelines, real-time analytics platforms, and API-based integrations across supply chain systems.
  • Enable scalable, automated supply chain solutions leveraging emerging technologies and AI-driven insights.
  • Provide thought leadership on digital supply chain trends, intelligent automation, and platform modernization. 
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and innovation programs to position Genpact as a leader in SCM transformation. 

Client, Partner & Stakeholder Management 

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior client executives, advising on supply chain transformation and digital strategy.
  • Ensure delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous value creation across large global accounts.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners (SAP, AWS, Azure, GCP, procurement platforms) to co-create and deliver integrated solutions. 
  • Align internal cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations, Product) to ensure seamless program delivery and governance. 

Financial & Operating Performance 

• Manage financial performance, including gross margin optimization, productivity improvement, and operational cost control.
  • Drive workforce planning, resource optimization, and talent readiness across complex, multi-client engagements.
  • Define, track, and continuously improve KPIs around quality, velocity, compliance, and delivery efficiency. 
  • Lead reskilling, upskilling, and domain capability-building programs to maintain a future-ready SCM organization. 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, ERP transformation, and digital operations.
  • Proven track record leading large, distributed SCM teams and global transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in P2P, sourcing, order management, inventory optimization, and supplier management. 
  • Deep hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Infor/Baan), MDM, integration, and process automation. 
  • Expertise in Data, Analytics, Cloud Platforms, AI/ML, and digital supply chain tools. 
  • Experience establishing CoEs, scalable delivery models, and standardized execution frameworks. 
  • Cross-industry exposure (Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Media, BFSI, Telecom, Insurance, etc.). 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and senior stakeholder management capabilities. 

Preferred Attributes

  • Strong execution focus with commitment to measurable outcomes and operational discipline. 
  • Experience in global consulting, BPM, system integrators, or technology services organizations preferred.

Education 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 

• MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred. 

• Cloud and AI certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, AI/ML) are desirable.
