JOB PURPOSE

Coordinate the day-to-day activities pertaining to receipt, handling, storage, recording and dispatch of goods in a store or warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination with Sales/ SCM departments for inbound loads.
• Coordination with distributors/ alternate channel customers for actionable order delivery status.
• Coordination with finance for monthly provisions on CFA expenses, transportation bills.
• Execution of central warehouse order – BPR suggested Vs BPR shipped quantity within 48 hours & keep BPR cancellations zero of Blacks & Reds.
• Execution of branch warehouse order – billing within 48 hours from the date of order released to warehouse.
• Ensuring adherence to RLT on each route from central warehouse/ regional distribution center.
• Handling of bad inventory management by scrap disposal, second sale stocks, handling of sales Return, disposal of defective lighting material as per SOP.
• Handling Route planning of vehicles, co-ordination with transporters for vehicle placement & ensuring optimum vehicle capacity utilization as per guidelines from HO-Logistics.
• Negotiating and reducing rental charges and Secondary transportation cost by benchmarking.
• Co-ordination with admin team for activities related to up-keep of WH premises – Pest Control, AMC of DG set, CCTV cameras, re-filling of fire extinguishers, etc.

Handling local administrative issues in co-ordination with the admin team.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

B. Com/M. Com or Diploma / Degree (Supply Chain/Logistics/Operation)

WORK EXPERIENCE

5-8 years preferably in consumer durables industry
